Years ago, late in the last millennium, Republicans anointed themselves as the saviors of “Family Values” to increase their electability among religious conservatives.  Abstinence-only sex-ed policies in schools and Pro-Life views on abortion were primary tenets of this creed. This was a mistake that has destroyed the Republican Party. 

As our national deficit skyrocketed under their supposedly “fiscally conservative” economic policies, other hypocricies reared their ugly heads quicker than a congressional foot brushing into your stall at Midwestern airport.  An urgent need was realized – since America's insurmountable national debt is being passed to our grandchildren, it is important to limit this burden as much as possible by increasing the number of people who will be paying it off.  The era of Family Values has come to a close.

John McCain’s selection of political and informational ignoramus Sarah Palin as his running mate is the culmination of this new “Pro-Teenage-Creationist” mantra. 

Elected to the Alaska Governorship solely on a platform of physical attractiveness, Palin is the a perfect role model for today's American Idol-famed culture. Palin's honest belief that she remains a presidential contender for 2012 shows that a lifetime of being pandered to as a beautiful person can be distorting to one's self awareness.

Born into a Catholic family, she now attends the Wasilla Bible Church.  Thankfully she has rejected the strict Catholic teachings against using birth control, and her support of teen pregnancy still remains admirable. 

Many politicians support causes with words instead of actions, but Sarah Palin stands up for what she believes in. 

A supporter of preemptive war, Palin’s son Track has served with the U.S. Army in the Iraq war.

A supporter of teenage pregnancy, on September 1, 2008, Palin revealed that her 18 year old daughter Bristol was 5 months pregnant. 

Palin was blessed that her unwed daughter’s firstborn child is expected in January 2009, right around the time she would have taken office as the Vice President had she been elected. 

Presidential leadership has been in short supply under the Bush regime, and the example of Sarah Palin’s support of teenage pregnancy got my vote in 2008. And again in 2012.

Pay down the national debt – support teenage pregnancy!!!
